Progressive Tuscan Dining Crawl of Florence
Start your vacation right in by hitting up a handful of Florence’s best restaurants and wine bars on a small-group, 4-hour progressive dinner crawl. Expect plenty of wine, quality company and fascinating food history storytelling. This leisurely evening food tour in Florence is centered around the true cuisine of Tuscany, conviviality, social dining, and conversation. Think: sit-down restaurants with truly representative foods vs sticking out as a tourist lining up at viral traps to check off a bucket list.
We invite all food loving travelers to come dine with us around Florence! Ideal for both first timers and seasoned visitors as we take the worry out of decision making by curating menus at food critic-approved restaurants (that range from traditional to elevated). Through walking from stop to stop, you’ll gain an orientation to Florence’s key sights over 3 different neighborhoods between the Oltrarno to the historic city center by foot in between tasting stops. Around the table we’ll hear about the historical origins that have shaped Florence’s food culture over the centuries.
You’ll be led by our team of food & wine experts in small-groups to meet the chefs, sommeliers and owners behind some of Florence’s best foods & wines to immerse you into understanding local culture and customs. All while demystifying regional Italian cuisine and tasting artisanal Tuscan wines hard to find at home.
Indulge in Italian aperitivo, fresh pasta rolled out in-house, sommelier selected wine at boutique enotecas, feasting on Florence's famous steak (bistecca alla fiorentina) family-style with freshly prepared market-sourced sides and artisanal gelato- all at different locations around the city.
By the end, you'll gain an in-depth overview into Florentine and Tuscan cuisine through engaging storytelling over delightful dishes made with fresh ingredients of the moment.
This curated evening food tour in Florence was made for restaurant loving travelers to optimize their stay by combining sightseeing at sunset, trying the region’s iconic dishes and local premium quality delicacies (i.e. specialty cured meats and Tuscan pecorino cheeses). Savor our social eating experience under our 5 star care at the city's most cherished restaurants and wine bars.

During holiday periods (i.e. Easter, NYE, Christmas, etc) we offer seasonal dinner experiences.
The crawl will still follow the same progressive format, however the stops will procure more holiday-themed dishes with sommelier-selected wines led by a food historian guide to explain Italian holiday culinary traditions.
2026: We charge a premium rate for tickets for various holiday dates.
For NYE Dec 31st, please book our Private Food Lover’s & Aperitivo Combo Tour which will involve visiting bakeries and cafes for local specialties as well as wine tasting/cocktails.
Read details here for our Holiday-themed pop-up culinary walking experiencesPlease note: we offer a small group progressive dining crawl on December 25th Christmas Day at a premium rate, you can book via “Book Experience” now button

Please note the bistecca fiorentina, i.e. T-Bone, is served rare per local tradition and requires at least a group of 4. We will not request the steak to be cooked more as the meat is traditionally prepared rare. For groups less than 4, you’ll have sliced steak tagliata in lieu of the T-Bone
-
As this is a shared tour format, we have a set menu with allocated amounts of beverages which we budget for at least 3 standard servings to accompany the food. This is a cultural food & drink tour that has been planned carefully.
If you’d like to have additional wines, time may not permit due to the shared format and a schedule to respect to our partner stops. If you’d like a curated wine focus, more flexibility in timing, etc we suggest considering booking a PRIVATE experience so we can bespoke the evening to your wishes.
-
The dinner crawl requires a minimum of 4 participants in order to include the family-style steak experience (it weighs a minimum 1 kilo!) and in the rare case in which our minimum is not met we will contact you with alternative options (i.e. meat substitution, reschedule, etc) with ample notice.
-
Group crawls have limited wriggle room as we follow a standard menu. We can easily adapt to vegetarians as long as they aren’t off by others eating steak. We can accommodate virtually any food lifestyle, especially for private tour bookings. Just let us know how we can help.
-
If you are a group larger than 8 OR if you would like to start later or earlier than the times listed- please send an inquiry via “Request Private Experience” button for a precise quote and inclusions. Otherwise, please book directly using our ticketing system via “Book Experience” button.
